It’s only blumin’ International G&T Day!

For those of you that don’t know… today is a day that celebrates the notorious Gin & Tonic - a widely popular tipple that’s centuries old! 

This day was created by a loving group of friends in honour of a Gin fanatic, Mary Edith Keyburn, who passed away at age 95 on October 19th back in 2010 with a G&T that her family & friends cleverly smuggled into the hospital for Edith so that she could sup her favourite tipple hidden in a teacup by her bedside.

These friends nicknamed the day “Gin and Tonic Day” and created a Facebook page a few years later. Over the following years, the page grew in popularity & members joined from America before spreading to the rest of the world uniting Gin lovers across the globe and thus making it an “international Gin & Tonic Day”.

We think this is a lovely story and today we will be celebrating & supping a glass of our signature London Dry Gin!
